Endo was one of the first people to come and live in the temporary housing as she had just given birth to her son (Takahiro – the boy featured last week!). She has been coming to Yarn Alive since the beginning. Her favorite color is green and her favorite project is vests.
It has been amazing to see the transformation in this lady from being shy to make anything in class to now designing beautiful cowl scarves and large blankets! Here is the latest blanket that she just completed.
Over the past few weeks, the ladies have been working on a new project with afghan (ひざかけ） blankets. The original design of this blanket comes from the Kyōyū kyōyū - share group in London.

He was born in February 2011 - just weeks before the earthquake and tsunami. His family lost everything and so came to this temporary housing to live where he soon became one of the resident yarn alive babies. Takahiro LOVES Thomas the Tank Engine and knows all the names of the trains!
