Seikosan with her new hat and bag. Isn't she clever? She took the lining from an old bag and used it in this new one that she created.

87歳になる星その子さんです。火曜日クラスが始まった2011年からずっとクラスに来ていて鍵棒編みを楽しんでいます。民謡を唄うのがとても上手です。これは去年のクリスマスパーティーの時の素敵な星さんです。 This is Sonoko Hoshi. She has been coming to the Tuesday class since it first started in 2011. At the age of 87, she loves to crochet. Her other talent is singing minyou which is traditional Japanese folk song. Here she is from our last Christmas party. Isn’t she beautiful?

渡辺とみよさんはヤーンアライブが始まった当初からずっと参加しています。特に好みの色はなく、いろいろな色でスカーフを鍵編みするのが好きです。仲間と一緒にいられる時間、ただ一緒にいられるだけで嬉しい時間、それがヤーンアライブのクラスです！ Tomiyo Watanabe has been coming to Yarn Alive since the beginning. She loves to crochet especially scarves. She does not have one favorite color but rather loves all colors. Overall, her favorite thing about Yarn alive is just simply being with everyone – a common theme, don’t you think?
