花渕浜在住の伊藤コトさんは2011年夏からヤーンアライブに来ています。好きなグリーンでセーターを編むのが大好きです。 Koto Ito from Hanabuchihama, Shichigahama, has been coming to Yarn Alive since the summer in 2011. She loves to knit. She also loves the color green and her favorite project is making sweaters!

皆さんマユミさんの花柄アフガンに感激。Everyone admired Mayumisan's gorgeous flower afghan. 
うれしそうに新しく完了したベストを披露するモリコさん。Morikosan proudly showed off her new vest that she completed. 
皆さんはノブコさんのリップル膝掛けとバイエルン膝掛けをチェック。お互いから習うことが好きです。Everyone checked out Nobukosan's ripple blanket and bavarian afghan. They love to learn from each other.

汐見台在住の西村きえ子さんです。2011年夏に開始した時からクラスに参加していて、仲間とのクラスの時間を大切にしています。灰色が好きで、スカーフを編むのが好きです。 This is Kieko Nishimura from Shiomidai. She has been coming to Yarn Alive since the very beginning of the summer in 2011. She loves coming to Yarn Alive and being with everyone. She prefers to knit and loves the color grey. Her favorite project is to make scarves.
4月16日ハンガリーのブダペストからいらしたモニカさんです。彼女はウェブサイトでヤーンアライブのことを知り、はるばるヤーンアライブのクラスを訪ねて来てくれました。 モニカさん、ゴージャスな毛糸やお土産をハンガリーから送ってくださってありがとう！ヤーンアライブのメンバーに早く見せたいわ。 On April 16, we got to meet Monika! She travelled to Japan all the way from her hometown in Budapest, Hungary. She found us on the web and so wanted to come and check out Yarn Alive. It was awesome to have her a part of our class! Thanks so much Monika for the recent donation of incredibly gorgeous yarn and souvenirs from Hungary! We can't wait to hand them out!
今日は渡辺のぶ子さんの82歳のお誕生日です！ヤーンアライブが始まった時からずっと参加していて、鍵棒編みでひざ掛けを何枚も編んできました。好きな色は栗色と黄色です。
Today is Nobuko Watanabe’s birthday! She is celebrating her 82nd birthday. She has been coming to Yarn Alive since its’ beginning. She loves to crochet and makes many beautiful afghan blankets. Her favorite color is maroon and yellow.
水曜日のクラスは小さなお部屋（仮設住宅内）で行っています。糸を配布することになると混み合います！しかし皆様のご支援で毛糸が配布できることはいつも感謝しています。すごいです！
The Wednesday class meets in a very small room (an actual temporary housing unit that has been vacated). This can get particularly tricky when it comes to distributing yarn! But we are so thankful for all our generous supporters for the continual donation of yarn which makes it possible for us to distribute every time we meet no matter how tricky it gets! It's amazing!
