Japan Matsuri ジャパン祭り

Seven Beach Aid is an online community supporting the people of Shichigahama and Yarn Alive has been so blessed to have its support over the years. Seven Beach Aid は七ヶ浜をサポートするオンラインコミュニティーでヤーンアライブも彼らの支援をいただけたことを祝福だと思い感謝しています。

Recently, the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan decided to sponsor 6 charities who are based in Miyagi and who produce products as part of Relief work.  These will be featured in tomorrow's Japan Matsuri (Trafalgar Square, 5th of October).

在日英国商工会が先日宮城県にある６つの被災地支援団体をスポンサーすることに決めました。明日（10/5土曜日のトラファルガースクウェア）ジャパン祭りで各団体は紹介されます。

13 箱/Boxes, 102kg/225lbs & 9355km/5813 miles

アメリカのミネソタ州とシアトル市から合計１０２キロもの毛糸が１３箱に積まれて９３５５キロかけてやって来ました！ご協力していただいたケリーさん、また毛糸を集めてくださった皆様に大感謝です！今から仕分けです．．． That's right! We just received 13 donated boxes of yarn from Minnesota and Seattle, USA, weighing in at 225lbs (102kg) and traveling a total distance of 5813 miles (9355km). Wow! Thank you so much Carri for organizing this huge blessing and thank you to all who generously donated towards this shipment! Now to begin the sorting :-)

 

 

ばらばらの毛糸 A stash of yarn　

皆さんでベストやセーターを編むように毛糸のパッケージを頂くことはとてもありがたいことです。また、ばらばらの毛糸もありがたいです！ちょっとでもあると助かり、皆さんは大喜びです。 It's always great to receive packs of yarn for the ladies to make projects like vests and sweaters.   Stashes of mixed yarn are great too!  Every little bit helps and as you can see, the ladies love it!!
