ピンクのベスト Pink Vest

ストッキネットというステッチで編んだ2枚の正方形 を繋いで作ったベストです。2枚を繋ぐ時に1枚は裏、1枚は表を繋ぎました。初心者でも簡単に作れますよ。
This pink vest is made of two squares which are knit in stockinette stitch.   When the two pieces are sewn together, one piece is sewed inside out, creating an interesting look.  This is an easy project  for the beginner who is not ready to tackle shaping, or setting in sleeves.

2種類の全く違う毛糸で編んだセーターです。このセーターを編んだメンバーは高校生の息子さんを待っている間車の中で編み物をしています。その手先の速さ！このセーターも記録的な速さで完成！ This sweater is an interesting use of two very different yarns. One of our ladies made this in record time! She does a lot of her knitting in the car when she is waiting for her high school age son!

アドベンチャーのひざ掛け Blanket Adventure

今日、メンバーたちが編み物に精を出しているあいだに、私は編んだブランケットを持ってクラスが行われている仮設住宅 近辺を歩いてきました。仮設住宅がある所は大震災前には大きな公園で人々の憩いの場所だったのです。
These blankets went on an adventure today.  While the ladies were busy knitting and crocheting in one of the temporary housing units, these blankets explored the surrounding area.  This serene and beautiful environment was once used as an outdoor recreation area full of high ropes, flying fox, walking tracks and even mini golf!  It now facilities rows and rows of temporary housing that will be here for at least another 2 years due to the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami! It's a good thing we've got Yarn Alive to continue the recreation experience!
