夏休み以降は、フェイスブックの投稿もできていませんでしたが…様々な活動を続けることができました。
We had not posted any updates on what we have been busy with after our summer break…
１０月に日本に上陸した台風１９号。その被害を受けた場所のいくつかのために寄付を送ることができました。栃木市には帽子を贈りました。また、丸森町にいらっしゃる方々のために帽子やブランケットを送ることができないか検討と話し合いをしています。
In October, a big typhoon hit many areas in Japan. We have been in contact with people in some of the worst hit areas, and we were able to sent some hats to Tochigi city in Tochigi prefecture ecently. We are also planning to send hats and blankets to some people in Marumori-cho in Miyagi prefecture.
そして最近はまた、毎年恒例のバザーに出品するための作品をせっせと編んでいます。

１２月２１日は、これまた恒例のヤーンアライブメンバーのためのクリスマスパーティーも企画しています。今年はなんと９回目のクリスマスパーティーです！毎年フェイスブックやこのブログで写真をシェアさせていただいていますので、お楽しみにお待ちください！
We have our Christmas party for our members on December 21st. Many of you have seen our Christmas party photos from our previous years. This will be our 9th Christmas party with Yarn Alive. We will be sharing the photos on this blog and facebook!
来春フィリピン山間地域での医療支援に出かける団体に届けていただくための帽子、赤ちゃん用靴下、手袋、ブランケットなどの作成も始めています。こんな具合で、私たちは続けて元気に活動しています！
We are also in the process of making hats, baby booties, baby mittens, blankets, etc. for babies to be delivered by a group that goes to the Phillipines to do some medical/dental mission next spring. So we continue to knit and look for ways to help and support people in need.
