雨には負けない！Rain won't stop us!

今日は雨が激しく降っていましたが、皆さんYarn Aliveに参加しました！合えて本当に良かったです！最初のクラスに創った花を来てきた人もいました。今週はラッフルスカーフ作りです！２週間後に完成品を見るのがたのしみです！ It's raining and it's pouring - but it did not stop the ladies from getting wet and coming to Yarn Alive today! It was great to see them. Many of them even wore the gorgeous flowers they they made in the first class. This week they are learning how to make ruffle scarves! Can't wait to see all their beautiful scarves in 2 weeks!

 

素晴らしい火曜日 Terrific Tuesday

今日のクラスでたくさんの作品が提出されました。また、ジョイと希望姉妹が発表されました。皆さんに人気あった様です。 Lots of new creations came rolling into today's class. And sisters, Joy & Hope, were introduced to everybody. They were well loved :-)

聖パトリック・デー Happy St. Patrick's Day!

聖パトリック・デーおめでとう！この日を記念して、この一年ヤーンアライブのメンバー達が編んだグリーン(聖パトリック・デーの象徴であるクローバー🍀の色)の作品を 集めてみました。 Happy St. Patrick's Day! In honor of this day, here is a collection of our favorite green items that the ladies of Yarn Alive have made over the year!

姉妹のジョイとのぞみを紹介します。Meet sisters, Joy and Hope.

私たちの素晴らしいパートナー霜平えみこさん作製のハンドメイドワンちゃんが今日届きました。

2 handmade dogs arrived today from our wonderful partner Emiko Shimohira.

デザインと手編みだけではなくカラーの毛糸のスピニングと染めも彼女一人でしました。

Not only did she create these dogs but she also hand spun and hand dyed the colored sections of the yarn.

遊び方は真ん中で持って振るらしいです。

Apparently you are meant to hold them in the middle and shake them :-)

本当に素敵で編み物を通して感じるジョイ（喜び）とのぞみのシンボルであると思います。

We think they are just adorable and represent the joy and hope that we share in Yarn Alive!
